HOUSE RULES

We kindly ask you to check-out by 10am, unless you have stated that you want a late checkout ahead of time.

This property is strictly NO smoking, and this includes vaping.

Please be mindful of noise levels and your surrounding houses. NO OUTSIDE NOISE after 10PM.

TELEVISION

There is a Smart TV in the lounge, utilise Freeview streaming for regular television viewing. Additionally, the TV comes equipped with apps like Netflix, which you can access using your personal login.

BBQ

Feel free to use the BBQ, but please clean it thoroughly for the next guests. A $60 cleaning fee will apply if it is not left clean. In the cooler months the BBQ can be found in the shed at the back.

LAUNDRY

Feel free to use the washing machine during your stay, there is laundry powder provided.

COFFEE MACHINE

There is a Nespresso coffee machine - Make sure water at the back of the Nespresso machine is topped up before using. One pod per person per night. Here are the instructions: Coffee Machine Instructions

OUTDOOR SHED

Extra outdoor seating can be found in the shed the code is 8950. Please return anything to this shed you have taken out. Ensure that the furniture is protected with the covers provided before you leave. If you find the covers removed upon your arrival, you may leave them off; however, the wooden furniture must be covered year-round when not in use. If you have taken off the covers, kindly store them in the shed to prevent them from blowing away. Outdoor cushions need to be returned to the outdoor storage box and master bedroom when not in use, also please do not let them get wet.

RUBBISH / RECYCLING

Please use the rubbish bins provided and where possible keep recycling seperate from daily waste. There is a large black bin for all kitchen and general rubbish to go in. There are two bins provided - Green/maroon bins are for clean, unbroken bottles and jars/ recyclable plastics / aluminium cans and tins. Large black bin with yellow lid is for paper, newspaper, magazines & cardboard.

GAS HOT WATER

Have you run out of hot water? Is the water running cold? This likely indicates that your gas supply is depleted. To resolve this, locate the gas bottles outside the house. You’ll find an indicator dial in the center of the bottles; simply turn the dial to switch to the other gas bottle. If you have to do this during your stay with us, please inform us.

HEATING / AIR CON

A heat pump is available to use in the lounge and hallway, using the heat pump remote to activate. Please keep the windows and doors closed when the heaters are in use. The snow flake is for cooling the house and the sun is for heating.

EXTRA BEDS

EXTRA BEDS - There is a sofa bed (lounge) and trundler (master) - if you haven’t requested it but need an extra bed, please contact Taylors Property to get these made up for you.

BUGS

You may encounter some insects; this is beyond our control. The Wairarapa is known for its ants, cockroaches, and flies.

SWIMMING POOL

The communal pool is available to use in the summer months (CLOSED from Easter weekend through to Labour weekend). Opening hours are 8am-8pm. Please familiarise and adhere to the pool rules at the entrance to the pool. The pool is only available to paid guests staying with you, not to visiting guests. A blue pool FOB is the key to enter pool. Simply wave the blue pool FOB at the entry pad at the gate to enter the pool gate.

TENNIS COURT

The tennis courts are available all year round. Courts are located before the first house on your left-hand side coming into Burgundy Drive.
