HOUSE RULES
We kindly ask you to check-out by 10am, unless you have stated that you want a late checkout ahead of time.
DOG FRIENDLY - Please take a moment to clean up after your pet, particularly in the backyard, to maintain a pleasant and welcoming environment for everyone.
This property is strictly NO smoking, and this includes vaping.
Please be mindful of noise levels and your surrounding houses. NO OUTSIDE NOISE after 10PM.

DISHWASHER
Push the power button to start. It is pre-set for the most economical and quickest wash cycle available. Dishwashing tablets can be found under the sink. It would be greatly appreciated if you could turn the dishwasher on before checking out.
FIREPLACE
There is a fireplace you are welcome to use. Firewood is in the garage
TELEVISION
There is a Samsung Smart TV. Power on and use Freeview, Netflix, Neon etc
OVEN
Turn oven on using the power button. Simply dial the function (bake, fan bake, fan forced, grill). Dial in what temperature you would like. When using the cook top please ensure the range hood is turned on. This helps eliminate smells but also keeps moisture out of the air
BBQ
Feel free to use the BBQ, but please clean it thoroughly for the next guests. A $60 cleaning fee will apply if it is not left clean.
SPA POOL
Striped spa/ pool towels are on the washing machine. Rinse off in the shower before entering spa. Please don’t touch the temperature settings, use jets only and close spa lid once you are finished using it. Please refrain from drinking with glassware in the spa.
LAUNDRY
There is a washing machine & dryer. Laundry powder is provided.
HEATING / AIR CON
There is a heat pump, using the heat pump remote to activate. Please keep the windows and doors closed when the heaters are in use. The snow flake is for cooling the house and the sun is for heating.
RUBBISH / RECYCLING
There is a rubbish bin in the kitchen and additional bin liners located under the kitchen sink. If the bin gets full, please take out and place into the black rubbish bin located outside. RECYCLING - The black wheelie bin with yellow lid is for paper, clean cardboard, recyclable plastics, aluminium cans and tins only. NO GLASS to go into this bin please. There are green and/or maroon recycling bins located outside these are for GLASS only please.
BUGS
You may encounter some insects; this is beyond our control. The Wairarapa is known for its ants, cockroaches, and flies.
COFFEE MACHINE
There is a Nespresso Coffee maker. There is one capsule per person, with a milk frother attached to the back of the machine. Please make sure the water is filled up behind the machine before use.
GAS HOT WATER
Have you run out of hot water? Is the water running cold? This likely indicates that your gas supply is depleted. To resolve this, locate the gas bottles outside the house. You’ll find an indicator dial in the centre of the bottles; simply turn the dial to switch to the other gas bottle. If you have to do this during your stay with us, please inform us.
