HOUSE RULES
We kindly ask you to check-out by 10am, unless you have stated that you want a late checkout ahead of time.
This property is strictly NO smoking, and this includes vaping.
Please be mindful of noise levels and your surrounding houses. NO OUTSIDE NOISE after 10PM.
PLEASE NOTE: There are security cameras at the front and back of the building plus at the entrance hallway and stairs.

TELEVISION
There is a Smart TV in the lounge, Utilise (Freeview or TVNZ +) streaming for regular television viewing. Additionally, the TV comes equipped with apps like Netflix, which you can access using your personal login.
DISHWASHER
There is a dishwasher with dish tabs in the cupboard under the sink. It would be greatly appreciated if you could turn on the dishwasher before you check out. Refer to the below link for more information.
BUGS
You may encounter some insects; this is beyond our control. The Wairarapa is known for its ants, cockroaches, and flies.
LAUNDRY
Please feel free to use the washer & dryer. Laundry powder is supplied. Please refer to the links below for more information.
OVEN
Turn oven on using the power button. Select the required function. More information please scan the QR code. When using the cook top please ensure the range hood is turned on. This helps eliminate smells but also keeps moisture out of the air.
RUBBISH / RECYCLING
There is a rubbish bin in the kitchen and additional bin liners located under the kitchen sink. If the bin gets full, please take out and place into the red lid wheelie bin located at the bottom of the stairs just outside the door to your right. RECYCLING - There are green and/or maroon recycling bins located outside these are for GLASS only please.
GAS HOT WATER
Have you run out of hot water? Is the water running cold? This likely indicates that your gas supply is depleted. To resolve this, locate the gas bottles outside the house. You’ll find an indicator dial in the center of the bottles; simply turn the dial to switch to the other gas bottle. If you have to do this during your stay with us, please inform us.
HEATING/COOLING
A heat pump is available to use, using the remote to activate. Please keep the windows and doors closed when the heaters are in use. The snow flake is for cooling the house and the sun is for heating.
