House rules

Check-out time is 10am unless you have stated that you want a late checkout ahead of time.

This property is strictly NO smoking, and this includes vaping.

Please be mindful of noise levels and your surrounding houses. NO OUTSIDE NOISE after 10PM.

PLEASE LEAVE THE HOUSE THE WAY YOU FOUND IT

TELEVISION

The television is a smart TV and has TVNZ+ and Sky TV available to watch.

DISHWASHER

There is a dishwasher with dish tabs in the cupboard under the sink. It would be greatly appreciated if you could turn on the dishwasher before you check out.

BBQ

Please make sure to leave BBQ clean using the BBQ wipes under the kitchen sink and brush by the BBQ, and put the cover back over once cooled. Please make sure gas bottle is turned off after use

Laundry

There is a both a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. There is a washing line out the back of the property and a clothes drying rack beside the fridge. One laundry powder sachet is provided per night staying. IRON & IRONING BOARD - There is an iron and ironing board the ironing board is located down the side of the fridge and the iron is in the laundry

NESPRESSO MACHINE

Make sure water at the back of the Nespresso machine is topped up before using. Please rinse milk frother after using for easy cleaning. One Nespresso capsule per person per night is provided

Heater/Air con

There is a Mitsubishi Electric heat pump in the lounge, the remote is located on the wall by the sliding door. Please make sure the heat pump is turned off on departure

OUTDOOR FURNITURE/ CUSHIONS

Note that some outdoor furniture is screwed to the deck and cannot be moved, this is to stop damage in Martinborough’s high winds. Outdoor cushions live in the box you are welcome to take the out but please put them back before you depart and do not leave them out in the rain

housekeeping

Please ensure the house is always locked (doors and windows) when you are not home. Located in Pinot Grove, with holiday homes and permanent owner-occupied properties. Please be mindful of noise levels after hours.

tennis court

The tennis courts are available all year round. They are located before the first house on your left-hand side coming into Burgundy Drive.

POOL

The communal pool is available to use in the summer months (closed from Easter Weekend through to Labour Day). The pool and enclosed area are also smoke free, alcohol free and glass free zones. Please respect these rules for the safety of our guests and permanent on site residents of Pinot Grove. There is a key tag attached to the key ring in the lock box. Please use this to access the pool.

rubbish

Please use the rubbish bins provided and where possible keep recycling seperate from daily waste. There is a large black bin for all kitchen and general rubbish to go in.

Recycling - There are two bins provided - Blue/Maroon bins are for Clean, unbroken bottled and jars. Recycled plastics, metal cans and tins. Large black bin is for paper, newspaper, magazines and cardboard.

Energy

We all have a responsibility to reduce our carbon footprint. Please keep windows and doors closed when heating is on. Turn lights off when they are not in use. Use the clothes racks provided (instead of a full drying cycle) where possible.
