HOUSE RULES

We kindly ask you to check-out by 10am, unless you have stated that you want a late checkout ahead of time.

This property is strictly NO smoking, and this includes vaping.

Please be mindful of noise levels and your surrounding houses. NO OUTSIDE NOISE after 10PM.

The Samsung TV comes with Apple TV. If you need instructions, please click below.

DISHWASHER

Push the power button to start. It is pre-set for the most economical and quickest wash cycle available. Dishwashing tablets can be found under the sink. It would be greatly appreciated if you could turn on the dishwasher before you check out.

OVEN / STOVE TOP

Turn oven on using the power button. Simply dial the function (bake, fan bake, fan forced, grill). Dial in what temperature you would like. When using the gas cook-top please ensure the range hood is turned on. This helps eliminate smells but also keeps moisture out of the air.

HEATER / AIR CON

Please keep the windows and doors closed when the heater is in use.

BBQ

Feel free to use the BBQ, but please clean it thoroughly for the next guests. A $60 cleaning fee will apply if it is not left clean.

LAUNDRY

Please feel free to use the washing machine. Laundry powder is supplied.

RUBBISH / RECYCLING

Please use the rubbish bins provided and where possible keep recycling seperate from daily waste. There is a large black bin for all kitchen and general rubbish to go in. There are two bins provided - Green/maroon bins are for clean, unbroken bottles and jars / recyclable plastics / aluminium cans and tins. Large black bin with yellow lid is for paper, newspaper, magazines & cardboard.

BUGS

You may encounter some insects; this is beyond our control. Martinborough is known for its ants, cockroaches, and flies.

HOT WATER

Have you run out of hot water? Is the water running cold? This likely indicates that your gas supply is depleted. To resolve this, locate the gas bottles outside the house. You’ll find an indicator dial in the center of the bottles; simply turn the dial to switch to the other gas bottle. If you have to do this during your stay with us, please inform us.

OUTDOOR CUSHIONS

Cushions can be found in the master bedroom in the wardrobe. Please return them back after use. We don’t want them flying over to the neighbours if its windy!

TENNIS COURT

The tennis courts are available all year round. They are located before the first house on your left-hand side coming into Burgundy Drive (map is below).

SWIMMING POOL

The communal pool is available in the summer months (CLOSED from Easter weekend through to Labour weekend). Opening hours are 8am-8pm. Please familiarise & adhere to the pool rules at the entrance to the pool. The pool is only available to paid guests staying with you, not to visiting guests. A blue pool FOB is the key to enter pool. Simply wave the FOB at the entry pad at the gate to enter the pool gate. (Located on Burgundy Drive (map is below).
