The Butterworths, a family entwined in New Zealand’s farming and sailing history, are the custodians of the Julicher Vineyard situated on the iconic soils of Te Muna. The J-Knot on every bottle, the strongest knot you can tie, is a tribute to our vineyard’s founder, Wim Julicher.

Situated on the stunning Te Muna Road, 7 minutes out of Martinborough. Butterworth Cottage is the ideal retreat to kick back and relax. Situated on the Butterworth Estate, a working vineyard. All day sun and uninterrupted views, amazing sunsets and at night enjoy the dark sky of Martinborough, its incredible. Recently refurbished throughout, the cottage has everything you need including luxury linen, wifi, fireplace and plenty of room to roam.

Butterworth Cottage has an open plan living area with full kitchen, dining table, comfy couches and tv, with a fireplace. Bedroom One has a king sized bed with high end luxury linen, built in wardrobe with hangers and sky light windows that open up. Bedroom Two has a king sized bed with high end luxury linen, with views to the vineyard. Bedroom Three has two single beds with his end luxury linen and views to the vineyard and neighbouring hills. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet, vanity, heated towel rail.  Downstairs there is a toilet and a laundry with a washing machine and drier.
